Tara Road Medial Centre are currently looking for an additional receptionist/admin person to work part-time at our friendly clinic. We are looking to cover 2 full days and rostered Saturday morning shifts with the ability to also cover leave and sick days as required.
We are a friendly supportive team working in a fast paced environment so the ability to work under pressure, be accurate and flexible will be valued attributes for the job. A knowledge of Medtech 32 or Evolution although not essential would be a distinct advantage.

Senior Nurse - Team Leader Omokoroa Medical Centre
We are seeking a Senior Nurse Team Leader to work at Omokoroa Medical Centre.
This position forms part of the management team of the Practice and as such is vital to the success of the business.
You will oversee the everyday duties of the Nursing team and work alongside the Practice Manager and the Doctors to ensure that the community of Omokoroa continues to receive excellent Primary care services.
You will be based in a modern, custom built medical facility and be part of a team that has served the local community for nearly 30 years.
You will have experience as a Practice Nurse, be adept at leading other Nurses, be willing and able to oversee Nursing students, hold a current New Zealand practising certificate, be certified to undertake vaccinations and smear tests and will have used MyPractice, Medtech or another PMS.

We are a busy semi – rural practice located in Katikati, 35km north of Tauranga in the gorgeous Bay of Plenty. Our team is an international mix of GP’s, nurses, HCA’s and Administration staff. We believe in providing high quality equitable care to our patient population of 9500.
Working with the clinical team in accordance with practice guidelines and protocols, you will assist with the provision and delivery of patient care.
You will be able to apply your clinical skills and knowledge in such areas as assisting with minor procedures, ECG’s, health checks, and removal of sutures.
Covid swabbing; sterilization, equipment management, re-stocking and ordering are key elements of the role.
The role is expanding and we expect our HCA’s to be flexible and have the following attributes.
- Confidence and competence in HCA duties required for the post although training offered.
- Ideally, experience within Primary Care and/or Healthcare setting.
- Excellent patient-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Consistently confidential manner as well as a compassionate and respectful approach, placing a high value on the dignity of patients, relatives, carers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and determine own workload priorities as well as working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
