AGED RESIDENTIAL CARE (ARC) - CLINICAL PROJECTS NURSE

The Western Bay of Plenty Primary Health Organisation seeks to employ a suitably experienced and qualified nurse to undertake assigned clinical projects activity in Aged Residential Care (ARC).

Previous proven experience and competence in primary care particularly Aged Residential Care will be an advantage.  An ability to function as part of a team is also a requirement.

This position will be part of the Western Bay of Plenty Primary Health Organisation’s new Acute Demand Service.  A Service designed to care for people in primary care.

Medical Reception or Administration work

My name is Elise Lander and I am a 21 year old Auckland University student back in Tauranga from now until early March 2018 and would love the opportunity for work in any medical reception or administration area available. I have worked in a medical practice in Epsom- Ranfurly Medical as frontline receptionist for the second half of this year and am very proficient on MedTech and also general computer use.

I am also proficent with phonecalls and multiple output phones- i.e. delegating phonecalls to right department. I have also worked at Harcourts Tauranga for the past two summers as their frontline receptionist in their busiest Tauranga Central office.

Practice Nurse Position

I have been a practice nurse for over 10 years and have recently redone the level 7 diabetes management and care course. I am an experienced smear taker, Independent Vaccinator and am looking for a practice that needs an experienced nurse that can further develop Insulin Initiation/diabetes follow up care, utilise experience with minor surgery, giving of infusions in general practice,work at the top of my scope of practice.

I am currently employed so would have to give 1 months notice and am looking for 3 days per week but flexible to cover fulltime when required.
